Power Rankings

1.Patriots - have just been dominant. Worst quote of the week ""We'll see them again. If they make it to Arizona, we'll see them again. If they make it to Arizona, we'll see them again."Patrick Crayton.
2.Colts - Huge game this week, Jaguars. Running game is paramount for Colts to stop
3.Cowboys - Best in the NFC, dont know how much that really means right now but there it is.
4.Steelers - A very good team that has been able to find a way to win without a couple starters.
5.Jaguars - Garrard is playing great ball plus the running game is firing on all cylinders.
6.Packers - Favre is back to his old self but this team is still finding ways to win
7.Buccaneers - Playing very well even without a running game, which bennet should help.
8.Chargers - Back in the swing of things, they are going to be dominant from here on out.
9.Ravens - Offense is struggling but defense can carry this team for a while, unlike the bears.
10.Giants - Defense is cruising, Eli is playing well, and they have spots where they can improve greatly.
11.Titans - Playing well, will have to see where VY is at with his injury. (last heard it was just quad and he was day - day...)
12.Lions - Offense is killin it right now, with Kitna throwing decent games. (Roy Williams may now tip pizza boys btw.)
13.Redskins - They are playing well but i think there time is a couple more years from now, not getting enough production out of their offense.
14.Panthers - Qb issue is well...an issue.
15.Cardinals - See above
16.Browns - Derrek Anderson has come out with guns blasting, he and Braylon Edwards are clicking like a big time combo.
17.Seahawks - Alexander is awful...enough said.
18.Eagles - Awful start, Westbrook is entire team and McNabb cant get back to his old self yet.
19.Chiefs - Playing well but im just waiting for them to collapse, neither Huard or Croyle will be able to win in a big game.
20.Texans - Has potential, but they desperately need Andre Johnson back in the lineup.
21.Raiders - Needs to get their Qb figured out. Culpepper cannot carry this team.
22.Bears - Qb's are terrible, Defense has two many injuries. Loss to Phili this week and their season is over.
23.49ers - Alex Smith might be coming back this week.
24.Vikings - Tavaris Jackson, enough said.
25.Jets - Reference above, insert Chad Pennington. No arm kills all passing game, including long ball. short outs, or anything to anyone but the TE
26.Bengals - Defense is awful, offense cant carry it. Rudi Johnson has become a non-factor.
27.Saints - Playing very badly, they may have had a turn around game but need to carry it this week.
28.Broncos - Got whupped at home, never a good sign
29.Falcons - Joey Harrington cant be the number 1 guy here, Vick destroyed this team.
30.Bills - Trent Edwards is playing well but Lee Evans isnt getting enough looks and the defense has way to many injuries.
31.Rams - Stephen Jackson, Marc Bulger. They need these guys back to win at least 1 game.
32.Dolphins - I hope the Patriots play their scout team. Already given up on season with the trade for Chris Chambers.

Matchup of the Week, 1) Colts Jags. Jaguars are hot right now and its played in Jacksonville.
2) Battle for their lives, Eagles Bears. Loser is looking to drop teh rest of teh season to get number 1 pick.

I like this list so much better than the ESPN Power Rankings (which up until this year was pretty good).

I am going on the assumption that VY will be healthy and I like that D and him at QB better than the Giants right now.

You gotta flip flop Det and the Skinnies. Wash laid a beat down on Jon "Jesus Boy" Kitna just two weeks ago.

The big move I would make here is a simple one, and it involves the teams bringing Tim Rattay and Vinny T to the table as their QBs next week. I would drop the Cards all the way down behind the Raiders, and the Panthers fall down with them. I don't think either of these teams has the D to make up for the offense's mistakes. Browns/Chiefs/Texans have all exceeded expectations this year.

Yeah its not because they are my favorite team, but you have to know that in a case where 2 teams are around the same power ranking, the team that smacked them in the mouth (Redskins) has to go on top. I like the location of them though. Definitely not a top 10 team but not below the median.

Real good work on this.
