Donovan McNabb may be playing his last season in Philly. That’s an unbelievable thing to say because of his accomplishments but it’s very much a possibility. Since his arrival in Philly he has been taken in like a disfigured Spartan child in 300. He is booed as he is drafted second overall, since the Eagles fans were hoping for Ricky Williams. He was the center of all kinds of controversy with T.O. and with the way he played in Super Bowl 39, he just hasn’t heard the end of it. He has constantly been criticized for the way he plays and how he has performed in the big game but even through all of that, he is a great Qb, although in the wrong town.
What if this is Donovan’s Last season in Philadelphia, what could be waiting for him on the other side of the fence? Well, there are plenty of teams that are going to be looking for quarterbacks after this season with all the injuries and poor play, and to go after one in the draft wouldn’t be a terrible move however if you need immediate helpy, to be able to pick up a Qb of Donovan’s status may be ideal. Teams such as Kansas City, Atlanta, Minnesota and Chicago should be looking next year and McNabb can fit with them all. Kansas City is in dire need of a good qb, Brody Croyle will not be able to handle that team yet and he might not be the future of this team. What if McNabb ends up there and gets the running game of Larry Johnson and the receiving combo of Dwayne Bowes and Tony G. The team is infinitely better. Or how about Chicago, Donovan was born in Chicago and played his high school ball there, so he may want to get back to his roots. That could be devastating for teams if Chicago would be able to get a real Qb into that offense, would just be dangerous. Atlanta could try to get back into a more scrambling offense with McNabb at the helm. Anything can happen once he leaves his black hole.
If this is indeed Donovan’s last year in Philly I cant wait to see where he could end up and what that team could prove.

Possibility?!?!...this is a virtual certainty (barring any Phillies-esqe run to the playoffs). D-Nice is gonzo in the city of battery-love.
There are three teams that I think would vastly improve and instantly become playoff contenders if McNabb shows up next season, and you touched on them all. Minny, Chi-town and KC. I think even if he ends up in Miami or Atlanta they still have a lot of rebuilding to do.
But think about #5 in Minny...that team would instantly become the the favorite in the division. The Oline is one of the best in the league, they have two legit runningbacks and a solid defense (which is out on the field for about 70% of the game).
Chicago would get an even bigger jump, if #5 is there the NFC will probably become a 2 team division next year (Chicago and Dallas). Chicago will most likely get another decent draft pick, plus get healthy on defense. Thats plain nasty.
Just to add to the McNabb in Minny point...
It would make a ton of sense for Brad Childress to go out and get him since Donovan already knows the system and they worked together in Philly.
