Prediction: Giants 30, Atlanta 13 (Current line: Atl +3.5)....Giants to cover is at lock status.
Player of the Game: Defensive End by committee. We are gonna see a ton of movement on the outside, and inside by the big three (Stray, Osi, Tuck...Kiwanuka should be blitzing from everywhere as well).
Giants on D: Atlanta will be trotting out two young, inexperienced tackles, this will force them to play 2TE sets and/or keep the running backs in for extra protection. Big Blue should use this to bring Kiwanuka on almost every play. He has to be a factor behind the line of scrimmage (not a factor by getting torched by Crumpler in pass coverage). Coming into the game Atlanta has given up 18 sacks (T3rd most in NFL). Giants have 17 sacks (T4th most in NFL).
Aaron Ross and Sam Madison have been excellent the past couple of weeks. If they can make Joey get down to his 3rd and 4th reads on consistently ...there is no way Joey makes it out of this game. Aaron Ross looks awesome coming in on those CB blitzes...his hit on D-Nice a couple weeks ago was priceless.
Giants on Offense: Atlanta is underrated up front against the run with Abraham, Grady Jax, and Jamaal Anderson. The Giants still have to pound the ball to set up play action. If they can establish a threat early Eli should tear this team apart, the Dirty birds are already weak at rushing the passer (especially with Kerney gone). Shockey should end up with some favorable matchups due to the play-action, and Plax, who will see a ton of safety help.
Special Teams: The Giants have been terrible all year. Hotlanta ST will assuredly set up an easy TD or Field Goal at some point in this game barring drastic improvement by Blue.
Thoughts?

Atlanta should get rocked here, in fact the only reason this is a monday night game is because it was scheduled before Vick was arrested. Giants should beat them handedly, only possibility for a win for the Birds is if Joey Harrington doesnt play like...Joey Harrington.
Hahaha, I agree...Big Blue should win this by double digits.
Other than Special Teams the one thing that does worry me is if Plax is not healthy or if D-Hall can take Plax out of the game by himself. That will really hurt the Giants matchup for Shockey.
As of now Plax and Ward are questionable (they should both play), Steve Smith is out.
I would like to see Eli get Toomer involved in the game. They were really clicking at the beginning of last year before Toomer went down. I am surprised that hasn't been a big factor in the red-zone or on 3rd and mediums
What do you think the chances are for another record breaking game for the d-ends for the Gmen, they have both starting DE's against a undrafted free agant, another "making his first start" at Right Tackle.
Sal Pal says Ward will play tonight, and Osi will start as well. Which is good.
Osi said it best after the Eagles game, basically he said that there have been games where he gets to the QB 10 or 12 times in the game but only comes away with 2 sacks. It just so happened that McBadd went down 6 times. I think Osi is gonna get his shots (same with Stray, Kiwi and Tuck) if Joey is smart he will take the incompletes.
Answer...I am not gonna go ahead predict any NFL records to be set. But the DEs will be a huge factor.
