2007 QB categories: Where they stand after Week 7.

Mythical Beast (Play at a level that is incomprehensible to mere mortals in terms of decision making, execution and wins. There is a HUGE gap between these guys and the next best)
Peyton
Brady

Good - Win a lot and/or put up good numbers.
Romo
Palmer
Big Ben (It's tough to play/throw in Denver…I just gave Ben his mully)
Hasselbeck (Everytime I think Zona or SF has put something together to compete with Seattle they poop themselves. I can't wait to knock Hasselbeck out of this category)

Decent - Secure jobs, will win some games, spots of stupidity
Eli Manning
Brett Favre

WTF?- Can't believe these guys are relevant, either because their teams are winning too many games or their stats are too high... or both.
Derek Anderson
Jeff Garcia
Jon Kitna

Up and coming- Show signs of life, but don't quite put it all together week to week.
Jason Campbell
Vince Young
Matt Schaub
Trent Edwards (looks like he has got that job…kid has two wins Balt and Jets)

Underachievers - Very disappointing week in and week out. Frequently freak out and make horrible decisions. Should be winning more with team around them and with what they have done in the past.
D-Nabb
Drew Brees

Overrated - Not as good as people want to think they are. Have good supporting casts but really are not good enough to lead them.
Jay Cutler
Philip Rivers
David Garrard
Alex Smith (His return won't mean as much to SF as people think)

Basement- These teams need to just hand the ball off.
Damon Huard
Vinny T/ David Carr - This is brutal.
Whoever Oakland is bringing to the table (it looks like if Oakland resolves this it could be legit team)
St. Louis QB #? (This could be the toughest for St. Loo management because Bulger just got a huge contract)
Steve McNair (Who is more disappointing than McNair this year?...)
Chad Pennington (At least we know Eric Mangini doesn't get caught up in what the fans are saying)

Andre Woodson Sweepstakes (No one really knows who is trotting out there and no one cares.)
Cleo Lemon (without Ronnie Brown he can't even "just hand the ball off")
Arizona job opening (Why did Zona feel it was necessary to prove what the Giants and the Rams have already?)
John Joseph or Byron Leftwich

Tarvaris Jackson (Below the basement/Worst QB in the history of the NFL)
Tarvaris Jackson (He looked more than inept this week against Dallas's secondary. Can someone please explain to me what Brad Childress is thinking? I feel like I am taking crazy pills.)

Stats that make you say WTF?
- Brian Griese is averaging over 300 yards passing per-game.
- Eli has 2 more TD passes than his brother.
- Tom Brady has more TD passes, through 7 games (27), than 9 NFL teams had all last year.
- Jon Kitna has been sacked 28 times… in 6 games.
- Drew Brees has thrown twice as many INTs (10) than TDs (5).
- Derek Anderson is the 11th rated QB in the NFL.
- Tarvaris Jackson is a starting QB in the NFL.

ok interesting moves, still dont like where Garrard is since his numbers are much better than most peoples. Although he was injured I can give you that he had a rough week.

The one that is just rediculous is Big Ben that high, even with giving him the Mulligan against denver (even when they didnt have champ bailey and 14 points he gave the basically gave denver's defense) However his third down efficiency isnt that great, 52.9. he doesnt deserve to be that high

garrard's leg fell off... he's fine where he is.

Big Ben is a GOOD QB. His team wins, he puts up good numbers. Just face it, the guy is good.
